Position Summary
The IT Sr. Analyst works closely with IT Business Partners to define and document key processes, requirements, knowledge articles, and user documentation, supporting projects and operational teams to improve operational processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define and document business processes and requirements (data flow, data storage, application usability, reporting and analytics).
- Support project management for technology implementations according to the SDLC.
- Create training materials (“How Tos”) and knowledge items to support user adoption.
- Create UAT scripts and facilitate UAT with business partners.
- Define, coordinate, and/or execute system integration testing to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Facilitate resolution of Tier 1 and 2 application/data issues; escalate to vendor support as needed.
- Serve as operational point person for existing systems (recurring meetings, change request tracking/evaluation, initiating change controls, coordinating patches, escalating issues).
- Conduct source systems data quality analysis as needed.
- Define standard operating procedures and perform periodic system review.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
- Targeting 3 years’ experience in data analysis and database management; strong process management and continuous improvement methodologies (including data governance and data quality concepts/tools). Equivalent combination may be considered.
Key Skills (Required/Preferred)
- Strong experience with Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Azure Services—specifically Azure Synapse/Data Warehouse strongly desired.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database principles.
- Strong analytical/critical thinking skills; high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a cross-functional environment.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; strong documentation skills.
- Previous pharma experience preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
