Purpose
The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) Strategic Execution and Initiatives Senior Analyst will project-manage and execute strategic initiatives advancing the global OEC program, including assessing OEC support needs; planning/executing risk-directed projects; creating stakeholder engagement and communications/training; supporting critical compliance reporting materials (e.g., Risk Assessment); capturing and socializing OEC accomplishments; and leading management of OEC resources (e.g., Prezentium, benchmarking).

Responsibilities
- Partner with all levels of OEC to assess support needs, provide support, advocate for escalation, and maintain momentum.
- Create, manage, and execute project plans and related materials (presentations, deliverables, implementation plans) for OEC operational excellence and strategic projects; revise as needed.
- Support the global risk assessment process by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing qualitative/quantitative data; summarize and update results.
- Collaborate across OEC and other functions (e.g., Internal Audit) to identify evolving OEC-related risks; support training/communication/engagement.
- Support governance and integrity of master data enabling global risk assessment, including the OEC Risk Register and user profile.
- Identify, deliver, and present risks/issues with proactive recommendations; coordinate change management to embed outcomes.
- Drive efficiencies/consistency in OEC risk management, analytics, and operational excellence.
- Support US Risk Governance model operations and sustainability and future global harmonization.
- Manage OEC resources (budget, PO, users, deliverables, educational materials, tools).
- Lead critical-project teams; translate/document meetings and support materials/outcomes.
- Participate in and lead cross-functional OEC projects.
- Assist with department presentations and training materials.
- Assist with compliance audit remediation; liaise between OEC and Internal Audit.
- Maintain solid working knowledge of AbbVieโ€™s business and compliance environment.

Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. required. CPA, Masterโ€™s, JD, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 yearsโ€™ experience/exposure to compliance, legal, audit, finance, and/or regulatory affairs.
- Leadership, organization, analytical, project management, and team-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with initiative; learns fast and adapts quickly.
- Strong oral/written communication; technical skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; proofreading/editing skills.
- Demonstrated change agility and inquisitive, open-minded problem-solving.
- Enterprise mindset using data, analytics, and AI-related tools to improve processes.
- Strong information synthesis and judgment to tailor communications to objectives/audiences.
