Position Summary
- Own/oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with biopharma/biotech partners; maximize partnership value.
- Develop alliance capabilities by applying Caris expertise to alliance decision-maker needs across R&D, target identification, indication expansion, clinical trial enrollment/success, companion diagnostics, molecular profiling, real-world data, precision medicine, and target discovery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align efforts, streamline decision-making, optimize resources, and achieve alliance objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage/oversee a portfolio of strategic alliance programs: alliance health due diligence, periodic health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Contract management: guide teams to meet partnership agreement aims/deliverables/objectives.
- Delivery: gather partner requirements; recommend Caris solution provisioning; direct delivery from kickoff to final deliverables; manage timelines/technical performance; escalate roadblocks.
- Process management: establish operations and governance decision-making; lead partner implementations to exceed expectations and meet timelines.
- Alignment/relationship management: enhance governance, drive mutual trust, identify expansion opportunities; serve as internal SME for expansion feasibility, risks, resourcing, and timelines.
- Proactive risk management and issue resolution planning.
- Customer/business excellence: communicate solution value, tailor approaches, maintain partner relationships, mentor, and support continuous improvement; provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- (When applicable) Lead/coach team, manage day-to-day operations, allocate resources, make data-driven decisions, and support performance/talent/succession/hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ yearsβ experience in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology OR related domains (real-world data repositories, drug development/discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare implementation/delivery/program management).
- Prior manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based business tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory/quality frameworks (CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA).
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology offerings, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical-trial enrollment solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams/direct reports.
