Position Summary
- Responsible for continuously improving implementation and partner relationship management best practices and driving Caris to be recognized as a biopharma partner of choice.
- Own/oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with biopharma/biotech partners; collaborate with BioPartnering leaders on contractual discussions, ensure obligations are delivered, and advise feasible alternatives.
- Develop deep expertise in Caris capabilities to support alliance needs across R&D, target identification/expansion, commercial efficiency, clinical trial enrollment, companion diagnostics, molecular profiling, real-world data, precision medicine programs, and target discovery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align efforts, communication, streamline decisions, optimize resources, and achieve alliance objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage/oversee a portfolio of strategic alliances: due diligence/health checks, annual operating plans, contract management, prescriptive delivery, process/governance management.
- Alignment & relationship management; drive continuous improvement; enhance governance; identify expansion opportunities; serve as internal SME for expansion feasibility, risks, resourcing, and timelines.
- Proactive risk management: identify/assess/communicate partner risks/dependencies; lead mitigation and issue resolution.
- Customer & business excellence: communicate Caris value; tailor approaches; build/expand customer relationships; mentor and contribute to process improvements; provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- (When applicable) Lead/manage team operations, allocate resources, coach/develop talent, ensure partner satisfaction and contractual delivery, and make data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology or related areas (real-world data, drug development/discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare implementation/delivery/program management).
- Prior manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based business tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Regulatory/quality framework knowledge (e.g., CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA).
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical trial enrollment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or direct reports.
