Position Summary
- Own and/or oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with biopharma/biotech partners; maximize partnership value.
- Develop expertise in Caris capabilities to address alliance needs across R&D, target identification/expansion, commercial efficiency, clinical trial enrollment/success, companion diagnostics, molecular profiling, real-world data/precision medicine, and target discovery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Business Development, Clinical Operations, Data Science, R&D, Product, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing, IT, Lab Ops) to align efforts and ensure alliance objectives are achieved.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio of strategic alliance programs: alliance health (due diligence, health checks, operating plans), contract management, and prescriptive delivery (requirements gathering, provisioning recommendations, directing delivery teams, timeline/technical performance, escalation/goal tracking).
- Process management and governance/decision-making support; lead partner implementations.
- Alignment and relationship management: improve governance, identify expansion opportunities, act as SME validating feasibility, risks, resources, and timelines.
- Proactive risk management and mitigation planning.
- Customer/business excellence: communicate solution value, recommend best practices, tailor delivery, mentor teams, drive process improvements, and provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- (If applicable) Lead/coaching, manage day-to-day partner operations, ensure partner satisfaction and contractual delivery, allocate resources, make data-driven decisions, support performance/talent/succession/hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology or related areas (real-world data, drug development/discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare implementation/delivery/program management).
- Prior manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based business tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA and impact on operations/deliverables.
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology/lab services/therapeutics/healthcare data products/clinical-trial enrollment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or direct reports.
