Senior Manager, Alliances
Position Summary
- Own/oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with biopharma/biotech partners; maximize partnership value and continuously improve implementation and partner relationship best practices.
- Develop expertise in Caris capabilities to support alliance decision-makers across R&D, target ID/expansion, clinical trial enrollment/success, companion diagnostics, molecular profiling, real-world data, precision medicine, and target discovery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align efforts, streamline decisions, optimize resources, and ensure alliance objectives are achieved.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic alliances: due diligence, alliance health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Contract management and ensure deliverables/objectives are met.
- Prescriptive delivery: gather partner requirements, recommend provisioning, lead from start to final deliverables, manage timelines/technical performance, communicate priorities, escalate roadblocks.
- Process/gov ernance management; continuous improvement and redesign governance; identify expansion opportunities.
- Proactive risk management and mitigation planning.
- Customer/business excellence: communicate value, tailor approaches, maintain strong relationships, mentor, support forecasting inputs.
- (If applicable) Lead and develop team; manage resources across portfolios; data-driven prioritization; performance management and hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree + 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology or related domains (e.g., real-world data, drug discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare delivery/program management).
- Manager-level experience or higher; travel up to 20%; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CLIA/CAP/GMP/GCP/IVDR/HIPAA; experience delivering oncology/lab/therapeutic/data or clinical-trial enrollment solutions; led cross-functional teams.
