Position Summary
- Senior Manager, Alliances: Improve implementation and partner relationship management best practices and drive Caris to be recognized as a biopharma partner of choice.
Responsibilities
- Manage/oversee a portfolio of strategic alliances programs (strategic value/alliance health, contract management, delivery, process management, alignment/relationship management, proactive risk management, and customer/business excellence).
- Lead due diligence, health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Ensure contractual aims, deliverables, and alliance commitments are met; direct delivery team from kickoff to final deliverables.
- Establish governance and decision-making processes; lead partner implementations that exceed expectations.
- Identify expansion opportunities; serve as internal solution/process SME for expansion (feasibility, risks, resources, timelines).
- Mentor and develop team; make data-driven decisions; support performance management, succession planning, and hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ yearsβ experience in one or more: molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology; multimodal real-world data; drug development/discovery; clinical research/study management; product management; companion diagnostics; healthcare implementation/delivery/program management.
- Manager-level (or higher) experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and business internet tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory/quality frameworks (CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA).
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical-trial enrollment.
- Leading cross-functional teams and/or direct reports.
