Position Summary
Senior Manager, Alliances: Own/oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with Caris biopharma/biotech partners; drive alliance best practices and recognition as a biopharma partner of choice.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic alliances; conduct due diligence, partner health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Contract management: ensure partnership deliverables/objectives are met.
- Delivery: lead prescriptive delivery, direct program teams to final deliverables, manage timelines/technical performance, escalate roadblocks.
- Process & governance: establish smooth operations, prepare governance decision-making, drive implementations to exceed partner expectations.
- Alignment & relationship management: foster trust, enhance/redesign governance, identify expansion opportunities; act as internal SME for feasibility, risks, resources, and timelines.
- Proactive risk management: assess/communicate risks/dependencies; lead mitigation planning and issue resolution.
- Customer/business excellence: communicate Caris value, tailor delivery approaches, mentor others, provide account forecasting inputs.
Management (when applicable)
- Lead/motivate/coach team; allocate resources; drive performance management and succession/hiring.
Required Qualifications
- BS + 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology OR real-world data repositories; drug development/discovery; clinical research/study management; product management; companion diagnostics; healthcare implementation/delivery/program management.
- Manager-level experience+; travel up to 20%; Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and internet tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CLIA/CAP/GMP/GCP/IVDR/HIPAA; experience delivering/partnering on oncology offerings, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical-trial enrollment; lead cross-functional teams.
