Position Summary
- Own and/or oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with Caris biopharma/biotech partners to maximize partnership value.
- Develop alliance expertise across research & development, target discovery/identification, indication expansion, companion diagnostics, molecular profiling, real-world data/precision medicine, and clinical trial enrollment/success.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Business Development, Clinical Operations, Data Science, R&D, Product Development, Operations, Regulatory, Marketing, IT, Lab Operations) to align workstreams, streamline decisions, and achieve alliance objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic alliance programs: alliance health/due diligence, periodic health checks, annual operating plans.
- Contract management: guide internal teams to meet partnership agreement aims/deliverables/objectives.
- Delivery/process leadership: prescribe delivery plans, lead partner implementations, manage timelines/technical performance, govern and communicate roadblocks.
- Relationship management: build mutual trust, enhance governance, identify expansion opportunities; act as SME validating feasibility/risks/resources/timelines.
- Proactive risk management: identify/assess/communicate needs, risks, dependencies; lead mitigation and issue resolution.
- Customer/business excellence: communicate Caris value, tailor delivery, maintain relationships, mentor and improve processes; provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- (If applicable) Lead and manage teams and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ years in: molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology; multimodal real-world data; drug development/discovery; clinical research/study management; product management; companion diagnostics; healthcare implementation/delivery/program management.
- Manager-level experience or higher; travel up to 20%; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory/quality frameworks (CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA); experience delivering/partnering on oncology offerings/lab/therapeutics/data products/clinical-trial enrollment; leading cross-functional teams.
