Senior Manager, Alliances β continuously improve alliance implementation and partner relationship management best practices and drive recognition as a biopharma partner of choice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/oversee strategic alliance program portfolio: alliance health due diligence, health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Contract management: guide internal teams; ensure partnership aims, deliverables, and objectives are met.
- Delivery: gather partner requirements; recommend Caris solution provisioning; lead program delivery from kickoff to final deliverables; align workstreams to business needs; manage timelines/technical performance; communicate priorities and escalate roadblocks.
- Process & governance: establish operations; prepare governance meetings; lead partner implementations that exceed expectations.
- Alignment/relationship management: drive intra-/inter-company communication, continuous improvement, governance enhancement/redesign, expansion opportunities; serve as internal SME for feasible expansions.
- Proactive risk management: identify/assess/communicate needs, risks, dependencies; lead mitigation planning and issue resolution.
- Customer & business excellence: demonstrate solution competency; recommend best practices; build/expand partner relationships; mentor; support process improvement and pilots; provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- (If applicable) Lead/coach teams, ensure partner satisfaction and contractual delivery, allocate resources, make data-driven decisions, and support performance/talent planning.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology and/or managing real-world data, drug development/discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare implementation/delivery/program management.
- Manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and business internet tools.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA.
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical trial enrollment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams/direct reports.
