Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Alliances improves implementation and partner relationship management best practices and drives Caris to be recognized as a biopharma partner of choice.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of strategic alliance programs: alliance health/operating plans, contract management, prescriptive delivery from inception to final deliverables.
- Manage processes and governance to exceed partner expectations and meet timelines.
- Lead intra/inter-company alignment, continuous improvement, governance redesign, expansion opportunity identification, and serve as internal SME for expansion feasibility, risks, resourcing, and timelines.
- Perform proactive risk management: identify/assess/communicate partner risks/dependencies; lead mitigation planning and issue resolution.
- Provide customer/business excellence: communicate solution value, tailor delivery approaches, maintain strong partner relationships, mentor colleagues, and contribute to process improvement.
- (If applicable) Lead and develop team; allocate resources; make data-driven decisions; support performance management, succession planning, and hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree + 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology, or related real-world data, drug development/discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare delivery/program management.
- Manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet-based tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory/quality frameworks (e.g., CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA).
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical-trial enrollment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
