Position Summary
- Own and oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with biopharma/biotech partners.
- Continuously improve implementation and partner relationship management best practices to make Caris a partner of choice.
- Build alliance expertise to address partner and decision-maker needs across R&D, target discovery, companion diagnostics, molecular profiling, real-world data, precision medicine, and clinical trial enrollment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align efforts, streamline decision-making, optimize resources, and achieve alliance objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic alliance programs, including due diligence, alliance health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Provide contract guidance to internal teams; ensure deliverables and objectives are met.
- Lead delivery: gather partner requirements, recommend Caris solution provisioning, manage timelines/quality, communicate priorities, and escalate roadblocks.
- Manage processes/governance and lead partner implementations that meet timelines and exceed expectations.
- Drive alignment/trust, continuous improvement, governance redesign, expansion opportunity identification, and feasibility/risk/timeline validation.
- Proactively manage partner needs/risks/dependencies; lead mitigation and issue resolution.
- Deliver customer excellence: communicate solution value, mentor, support capability building, and provide account-level forecasting.
Management (when applicable)
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop team; manage day-to-day partner operations; ensure satisfaction and contractual delivery; allocate resources; support performance/talent planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree + 4+ years in molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology or related domains (R&D, drug discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare delivery/program management, or multimodal real-world data).
- Manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and business web tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory/quality frameworks (CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA).
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical-trial enrollment solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or direct reports.
