Position Summary
- Own/oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with biopharma/biotech partners to maximize partnership value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align objectives and ensure contractual obligations are delivered; develop expertise in Caris capabilities to support alliance decision-makers.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic alliances: due diligence, alliance health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Contract management guidance; ensure delivery of aims, deliverables, and objectives.
- Prescriptive program delivery: gather partner requirements, recommend provisioning of solutions, lead execution to final deliverables, manage timelines/technical performance, escalate roadblocks.
- Process management: governance preparation/decision-making; implementations that exceed partner expectations.
- Relationship/expansion management: improve governance, identify expansion opportunities, assess feasibility/risks/resources/timelines.
- Proactive risk management: identify/communicate partner needs/risks/dependencies; lead mitigation and issue resolution.
- Customer/business excellence: communicate solution value, tailor approaches, mentor/team enablement, continuous improvement, account-level forecasting inputs.
- (If applicable) Lead/coach team, manage day-to-day partner operations, ensure partner satisfaction and contractual delivery, allocate resources, make data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience in relevant domains (e.g., molecular biology/clinical molecular diagnostics/oncology; real-world data; drug development/discovery; clinical research/study management; product/companion diagnostics projects; healthcare implementation/delivery/program management).
- Prior manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA.
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology/lab services/therapeutic programs/healthcare data/clinical-trial enrollment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams/direct reports.
