Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Alliances drives implementation and partner relationship management best practices to make Caris a biopharma partner of choice.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic alliances programs, including due diligence, alliance health checks, and annual operating plans.
- Guide contract management to ensure deliverables and objectives are met.
- Lead prescriptive delivery: gather partner requirements; direct delivery teams from start to final deliverables; align workstreams, timelines, and technical performance; communicate priorities and escalate roadblocks.
- Establish governance and smooth operations; lead partner implementations to exceed expectations.
- Drive alignment and continuous improvement; redesign governance; identify expansion opportunities; serve as internal SME for feasibility, risks, resourcing, and timelines.
- Proactively manage partner needs, risks, and dependencies; lead mitigation planning and issue resolution.
- Deliver customer/business excellence: communicate value, tailor delivery approaches, maintain partner relationships, mentor colleagues, and provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- When applicable: lead/coach/develop team; manage day-to-day partner operations; ensure satisfaction and contractual delivery; allocate resources; make data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ yearsβ experience in: molecular biology, clinical molecular diagnostics, oncology; or managing multimodal real-world data; drug development/discovery; clinical research/study management; product management; companion diagnostics; healthcare implementation/delivery/program management.
- Prior manager-level experience.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and business internet tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA.
- Experience delivering/partnering on oncology/lab services/therapeutic programs/healthcare data products/clinical-trial enrollment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or direct reports.
