Senior Manager, Alliances
Position Summary
Own and/or oversee execution, delivery, and relationship management of programs with Caris biopharma and biotech partners to maximize partnership value; drive continuous improvement of implementation and partner relationship management best practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of strategic alliances programs: alliance health due diligence and health checks; annual operating plans.
- Contract management: guide internal teams to meet partnership agreement aims, deliverables, and objectives.
- Delivery: gather partner requirements; recommend provisioning of Caris solutions; lead delivery from inception to final deliverables; manage timelines/technical performance; prioritize, organize, escalate roadblocks, and track goals.
- Process management: prepare governance and decision-making; lead implementations that meet timelines and exceed expectations.
- Alignment/relationship management: strengthen intra-/inter-company trust; continuously improve alliance governance; identify expansion opportunities; serve as internal SME for expansion feasibility, risks, resources, and timelines.
- Proactive risk management: identify/assess/communicate needs, risks, dependencies; lead mitigation and issue resolution.
- Customer/business excellence: demonstrate product competency, tailor approaches, mentor and build team capability, and provide account-level forecasting inputs.
- (If applicable) Lead/motivate/coach/manage team and allocate resources; drive data-driven decisions; support performance, talent development, succession planning, and hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree and 4+ yearsβ experience in molecular biology, clinical molecular diagnostics, oncology, real-world data/repositories, drug development/discovery, clinical research/study management, product management, companion diagnostics, healthcare implementation/delivery/program management.
- Prior manager-level experience.
- Travel up to 20%.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and business internet tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, GMP, GCP, IVDR, HIPAA; experience delivering/partnering on oncology offerings, lab services, therapeutic programs, healthcare data products, or clinical-trial enrollment solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and/or direct reports.
