Position Summary:
Senior AI Engineer (AI Venture Studio) to design and build AI-first, cloud-native, agentic applications and the knowledge/context infrastructure powering them.
Responsibilities:
- Ship in 2-week agile cycles; demonstrate progress and lessons learned.
- Deliver backend services integrating LLM APIs, AI agents, retrieval, workflow engines, and enterprise systems.
- Build MCP-accessible governed knowledge access (read/write/search) with versioning and auditability.
- Implement secure auth/authz (enterprise SSO, credentials, secrets, validation, secure service-to-service).
- Build agentic apps (LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK) with orchestration, tool use, loops, multi-agent collaboration, durable execution.
- Design retrieval/memory/context architectures using AWS-native data stores.
- Create evaluation/testing/observability to measure quality, reliability, latency, cost, and outcomes.
- Build CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, evaluation frameworks, and release processes.
- Provide technical leadership (architecture/code/design reviews, mentorship, documentation).
Required Qualifications / Skills:
- BS+ in CS/Engineering/Science (or related).
- 5+ years scaling software/cloud/APIs/distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python/FastAPI and/or TypeScript/Node.
- AWS cloud-native hands-on experience.
- Experience integrating LLMs, retrieval, workflows, agents into real user experiences.
- Agent frameworks: LangGraph/LangChain/PydanticAI/Claude Agent SDK (or similar).
- Containers, CI/CD, GitHub workflows, automated testing, IaC (Terraform/AWS CDK/CloudFormation).
- Enterprise LLM integration (Anthropic preferred, OpenAI/Gemini/Grok/Bedrock, etc.).
- Knowledge of security/responsible AI (SSO, secrets, auditability, eval, guardrails).
- Use AI coding agents/tools (Claude Code/Codex/GitHub Copilot, etc.).
- Strong communication in cross-functional agile teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- MCP servers/tools/FastMCP; governed agent ecosystems.
- Advanced retrieval/memory/context; multi-agent orchestration; durable/long-running workflows.
- Evaluation-driven dev and AI observability (LangSmith/promptfoo).
- Sandbox/provenance tracking/audit-friendly architectures; production support with SLOs.
- Life sciences/regulatory experience.
