Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist (and Sr. ALD Specialist)

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and increase sales of all UT products (primary focus: Tyvaso) in an assigned territory and designated accounts.
- Promote products per corporate guidance; educate the PH-ILD and/or IPF community.
- Build and maintain relationships with HCPs and specialty distributor staff to maximize product messaging.
- Analyze sales reports; develop and implement business plans to grow key accounts and achieve/exceed targets.
- Coordinate with other field team members to optimize selling, education, and support.
- Develop expert knowledge of disease state, UT products, and the competitive landscape.
- Use sales force automation for territory effectiveness and record-keeping.
- Complete UT administrative requirements (e.g., expense reports, call reporting) and adhere to all promotion guidelines.
- Attend medical symposia/conferences and patient support group meetings; participate in sales/marketing project teams.

Territory/Travel:
- Remote within the Arlington, VA area (ideal candidates live within the territory); Greater Northern Virginia.
- 75–80% travel via vehicle and/or airplane.

Minimum Requirements – ALD Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree (prefer nursing/life science) or equivalent; 6+ years selling to specialty HCPs and/or 6+ years advanced lung disease healthcare/nursing experience.
- 2+ years in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Therapeutics; expertise in these areas.
- Strong leader, communication, planning, interpersonal skills; UT product/service knowledge; valid driver’s license.

Preferred – ALD Specialist:
- 2+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales; 2+ years in institutional/major teaching centers.

Minimum Requirements – Sr. ALD Specialist:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent; 8+ years selling to specialty HCPs; 4+ years specialty pharma/biotech sales.
- 4+ years institutional/major teaching centers; 2+ years Cardiovascular/Pulmonary therapeutics.
- 1+ year facilitating training workshops (internal UT employees only, required).
- 2+ years as successful Cardiopulmonary Specialist exceeding targets; leadership/communication; product knowledge; valid driver’s license.

Preferred – Sr. ALD Specialist:
- 2+ years specialty pharmacy-distributed pharmaceutical sales; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales.

Compensation/Benefits (if included):
- Base salary ranges: ALD $130,000–$160,000; Sr. ALD $155,000–$180,000. Total compensation and incentives/long-term incentives and comprehensive benefits may apply.
