Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist / Senior Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Promote marketed products in an assigned territory and designated accounts; interface with the PH-ILD and IPF community.
- Build and maintain relationships with MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and specialty distributor staff to deliver product messaging and education (Tyvaso and per package insert).
- Analyze sales reports; develop and implement business plans to increase business and drive sales in key accounts; achieve/exceed targets.
- Coordinate with other field-based team members to optimize selling, education, and support.
- Utilize available resources effectively to drive sales with key customers.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of disease state, products, and competitive landscape.
- Use sales force automation for territory effectiveness and record-keeping.
- Complete administrative requirements (expense reports, call reporting) per UT Commercial Compliance Guidelines.
- Adhere to corporate/external regulatory/UT promotion guidelines.
- Attend medical PH-ILD and/or IPF symposia/conferences to provide education and support.
- Attend patient support group meetings and remain current with PH-ILD and/or IPF community; participate in sales/marketing project teams to establish programs/resources.

Territory/Travel:
- Greater Cincinnati area; secondary Greater Dayton area. Remote within Cincinnati, OH area. 75–80% travel (motor vehicle and/or airplane).

Minimum Requirements (ALD Specialist):
- Bachelor’s (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years selling specialty therapies to specialty HCPs OR 6+ years healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease.
- 2+ years cardiovascular and/or pulmonary therapeutics experience.
- Expertise in cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease therapeutic area.
- Strong leader; proven selling record; excellent communication.
- Decision-making, planning, interpersonal skills; knowledge of UT products/services.
- Valid driver’s license.

Preferred (ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales; 2+ years in institutional/major teaching centers.

Minimum Requirements (Sr. ALD Specialist):
- Bachelor’s (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years specialty pharmaceutical sales to specialty HCPs.
- 4+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales; 4+ years institutional/major teaching centers sales.
- 2+ years cardiovascular and/or pulmonary therapeutics experience.
- 1+ year facilitating training workshops (Internal UT employees only; required).
- 2+ years as a successful Cardiopulmonary Specialist exceeding targets and meeting UT promotional criteria (Internal UT employees only).
- Expertise, leadership, selling excellence across multiple regions; decision-making/planning/interpersonal skills; knowledge of UT products/services; valid driver’s license.

Preferred (Sr. ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years selling through specialty pharmacies; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales.

Benefits/Compensation:
- ALD Specialist base salary range: $130,000–$160,000/year. Sr. ALD Specialist base salary range: $155,000–$180,000/year. (Base salary only; may include sales incentives, long-term incentives, and comprehensive benefits.)
