Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting

Role: Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting, responsible for preparing SEC filings, managing technical accounting areas such as ASC 842 and ASC 718, and supporting the company's financial reporting processes. Responsibilities include maintaining accounting policies, coordinating with cross-functional teams for timely filings, analyzing variances, supporting audits, preparing disclosure checklists, and ensuring SOX compliance. The role also involves month-end close tasks, reconciliation, and process improvements. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; 3+ years in financial accounting, deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX; experience with complex month-end closes, strong organizational and communication skills, integrity, adaptability, and team orientation. Preferred: biotech or pharma industry experience, Big 4 background, CPA, familiarity with Workiva and ERP systems.
