Senior Accountant, General Ledger

Role: Senior Accountant, General Ledgers at ImmunityBio, responsible for managing accounting policies, procedures, and controls related to the organization’s general ledger. Core duties include preparing monthly journal entries and reconciliations, financial statements, and disclosures; maintaining fixed assets; ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX; analyzing variances; supporting audits; and driving process improvements for operational efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor’s in finance or accounting; 3+ years of experience with increasing responsibility; strong understanding of GAAP; experience with financial analysis and reporting; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred. High-Value: Industry experience in biotech or pharma, especially in immunotherapy or cell therapy platforms; knowledge of GxP, internal controls, and financial compliance in a regulated environment; experience supporting public companies and audits. Work Setup: On-site in El Segundo or Torrey Pines, CA; standard weekday schedule with flexibility; physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
