Senior Accountant

Role: The position supports the Sr. Manager, General Ledger Accounting in month-end close, account reconciliations, standard costing, and ad hoc projects within a manufacturing or production environment. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, leading close activities, process improvement, supporting audits, inventory reconciliation, and participating in ERP implementations and finance transformations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting; 5-7 years overall experience, with 2-5 years in manufacturing or similar settings; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; strong month-end close and reconciliation skills. Preferred: Experience in a $250M+ revenue company, multi-entity or multinational settings, familiarity with ERP systems like J.D. Edwards or Dynamics 365, and life sciences industry exposure. The role involves extended computer use, with a hybrid work schedule (generally two days in-office). Critical success factors include effective time management, clear communication, collaboration, relationship-building, analytical thinking, continuous improvement mindset, and organizational skills. The position may vary in seniority based on experience and education, with compensation adjusted accordingly.
