Your Role / Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting activities to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and assistance with flux analyses.
- Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and public company reporting standards.
- Assist with 10-Q and 10-K SEC external reporting procedures, including preparing footnotes and reviewing disclosures with the financial reporting team.
- Provide guidance on daily operations and continuous process improvements, including exploring and implementing automation tools for accounting operations.
- Assist with post-close tasks by collaborating with the Business Planning team to research fluctuations in financial results.
- Ensure adherence to SOX internal controls, including effective execution of existing controls and consideration of new controls.
- Perform other related duties and ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications / Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; minimum 5 years in public accounting with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX 404 internal control compliance.
- Exposure to public company financial reporting (e.g., reviewing SEC filings).
- Strong organizational skills; accurate, detailed work with strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; time management, planning, and prioritization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (V-LOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.).

Preferred:
- Experience in a similar life sciences organization role.
- CPA certification or path to CPA.

Compensation:
- Base pay range expected: $101,275.00–$111,935.00 annually.
