Senior Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant supporting clinical trial and R&D accounting within a biopharma setting. Primary objectives include accurate accruals, expense analysis, month-end close, and financial reporting aligned with GAAP, ASC 730, and SOX. Responsibilities encompass managing clinical trial accruals, vendor invoice reviews, cost allocations, and process improvements, with a focus on compliance and technical accounting reviews of trial agreements. Collaborates closely with Clinical Operations, FP&A, Procurement, and external vendors like CROs and clinical sites. Requirements: 2–3 years of accounting/audit experience, preferably with public accounting background (Big 4 ideal), and familiarity with biotech or healthcare industries; experience with clinical trial or R&D accounting preferred. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency, understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP, experience with Oracle Fusion or Google Workspace advantageous. High-Value: Experience supporting clinical trial expenditures in biotech, particularly within R&D or clinical operations, with a focus on compliance and process enhancement.
