Senior Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant within the finance department, supporting accounting operations, month-end/quarter-end close, and compliance. Responsibilities: prepare journal entries, manage cash and credit card reconciliations, conduct periodic system access reviews, assist with audits and SOX compliance, and support process improvements and ad-hoc projects. Requirements: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business; 5+ years in accounting or auditing; strong US GAAP, SOX, SEC knowledge; proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office. Preferred: Big 4 experience, CPA license, biotech/pharma industry background, familiarity with NetSuite and Coupa. High-Value: experience supporting public biotech companies, familiarity with GxP or clinical operational finance is a plus. Work Setup: onsite at Redwood City, CA, with a salary range of $120,000–$150,000, potentially adjusted for location.
