Senior Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant supporting Rocket Pharma’s accounting and financial reporting functions, including month-end close, SEC filings, technical accounting, and internal controls. Responsibilities: manage monthly and annual closing processes, post journal entries, review general ledger postings, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, prepare financial statements, support audits, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, assist with 10-K/10-Q filings, and help develop accounting policies and internal controls. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred; 4+ years of progressive experience, including at least 2 years in a publicly traded life sciences company or Big 4/public accounting; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus); strong analytical, Excel, and communication skills. High-Value: public company experience, SEC reporting, life sciences industry, focus on technical accounting, GxP knowledge optional.
