Senior Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant supporting financial operations within a biopharma research-focused environment. Responsibilities: maintain accurate financial records, support month-end close, prepare financial reports, manage accruals for clinical trials and manufacturing, ensure expense allocation accuracy, assist with audits and SOX compliance, and drive process improvements. Collaborates closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to capture research and development costs and provide timely analysis for management decision-making. Requirements: Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting; 3–4+ years' experience, preferably in a public or biotech setting; proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with NetSuite; knowledge of US technical accounting standards; strong communication, organizational, analytical, and project management skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Preferred qualifications include CPA certification. High-Value: Experience with clinical trial costs, research and development accounting, SOX compliance, and operational support within a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.
