Senior Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant supporting Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals' Finance & Accounting team, focusing on month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, SEC reporting, and audit activities. Responsibilities: manage journal entries, prepare reconciliations for lease accounting, clinical trial accruals, and transfer pricing; perform variance analysis; assist with SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K); support audit processes and maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX; contribute to financial reports and process improvements. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; 1-3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in biotech or life sciences; strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and ERP systems; proficient in Excel; excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred: CPA or CPA-track; exposure to SEC reporting, SOX controls, or Big 4 public accounting. HighValue: experience supporting SEC filings; biotech or pharma industry background preferred.
