Role Summary
The Senior Account Manager is part of the Sales team, primarily supporting beef industry accounts in the Nebraska territory. The role is based in a remote setting with coverage aligned to the Nebraska geography and requires coordination with distributors, feedyards, nutritionists, and veterinarians. Location may be Teaneck, NJ remote for overall team alignment, with primary market focus in Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales efforts for Phibro product portfolio in Nebraska across beef customers including feedyards, nutritionists, regional distribution/feed mills and targeted vet clinics
- Utilize Phibro resources and training to develop working knowledge of beef and mineral product portfolio by:
- Comprehending the scientific principles behind each product and their application
- Positioning features and benefits to meet customer needs
- Be present at trade shows and industry events to build Phibro brand and grow in professional knowledge, experience, and relationships.
- Provide product support for customers, key influencers, and end users ensuring proper use of Phibro products.
- Must be able to manage all available resources for business growth and retention.
- Provide input to business directors, product director(s), and finance partner for:
- Pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution.
- Input on sales support materials needed in the field.
- Report on industry, customer, and competitive trends within assigned area.
- Proactive and consistent use of PhibroβΓΓ΄s CRM system.
Qualifications
- B.S. in animal science/animal nutrition with beef experience, or other agriculture related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience in sales position requiring portfolio and value selling, product support, and collaborative approach with preferred experience in beef and/or feed industry.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of nutrition industry network including;
- Experience with, or willingness to learn, customer relation management (CRM) software.
- Must reside in assigned geography.

Education
