SEC Reporting & Accounting Manager

Role: SEC Reporting and Accounting Manager responsible for supporting financial reporting, managing R&D month-end close, maintaining internal controls, and partnering cross-functionally within a biopharma context. Responsibilities: prepare SEC filings (Form 10-Q, 10-K), oversee R&D accruals and related journal entries, review complex accounting transactions, and support audits. Collaborate with departments such as Legal, FP&A, and Clinical Operations to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX. Drive process improvements through automation. Requirements: Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred; 5–8+ years’ progressive experience including biotech or life sciences; strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite), clinical accrual systems (Condor), and SOX compliance; proficient in Excel; on-site in Watertown, MA, up to 3 days/week.
