General Summary:
- Leads laboratory technology support and continuous evolution across Seattle.
- Accountable Research Site Partner for Seattle: primary DTE relationship holder for site research leadership; front door for capturing, shaping, and routing site requirements into the correct cross-functional platform backlog.
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior business, quality, and DTE leaders; partner to impact enterprise laboratory goals.
- Ensure stable, secure, compliant laboratory technology operations across IT and OT; aligned to cyber security, ITSM/ITIL, and DTE system lifecycle standards.
- Primary accountability for laboratory technology in GxP- and SOX-regulated environments; partner with DTE Compliance, Cyber Security, Internal Audit, and Quality Assurance.
- Own and manage the site operating budget (planning, forecasting, vendor management, value realization).
- Oversee site portfolio of programs, projects, platform releases, and enhancements (quality, timeliness, business outcomes).
- Attract, develop, retain talent; people-management accountability.
- Own technology adoption/change and DTE relationship at Seattle; primary partner to site SVP and research leadership.
- Act as site product owner: capture scientist requirements/user stories; shape into clear, prioritized demand.
- Be the single front door for Seattle; route demand to the correct platform owner instead of engaging platform teams directly.
- Drive local adoption/change management; provide roadmap/delivery updates to scientists and leadership.
- Represent site voice in cross-site prioritization forums; maintain transparent demand/backlog status.
Knowledge And Skills:
- Senior stakeholder engagement; deep enterprise tech ops, cyber security, ITSM, system lifecycle knowledge.
- People leadership; program/portfolio/demand/financial management expertise.
- Analytical/problem-solving and executive communication.
- Balance operational stability with innovation in regulated environments.
- Operate in matrixed accountability model.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years relevant experience (or equivalent).
- Leadership managing enterprise technology platforms/support orgs.
- Experience in GxP and SOX environments.
- Experience leading complex programs/portfolios/vendor ecosystems with financial accountability.
Pay Range: $164,400 - $246,600
