Scientist, Upstream Process Development

Role: Upstream Process Development Scientist supporting scalable cell culture processes for in vivo biologics and gene therapies. Responsibilities: design and execute development studies using shake flasks, bioreactors, and high-throughput systems; optimize fed-batch and perfusion processes; utilize Ambr 250 bioreactors; apply statistical design and data analytics; support novel technology evaluation; collaborate with cross-functional teams; author technical and regulatory documentation. Requirements: BS/MS in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, or related; 2-4+ years’ experience in mammalian cell culture process development; hands-on bioreactor operation, media optimization, and process scale-up experience; proficiency with Ambr 250 systems, data analysis tools (JMP, MiniTab, Python).
