Role: Associate Director in Translational Research Science focused on hematological malignancies, leading experimental design and execution to support clinical trial decisions and pre-clinical strategies. Responsibilities: conduct and validate translational assays assessing tumor biology, resistance mechanisms, and target expression; inform combination therapy development; communicate findings through reports and presentations; ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least 2 yearsβ research experience in academic or industry settings; proficiency in cell culture, immune assays (Western Blot, ELISA, Flow Cytometry), gene expression techniques (NGS, qPCR), and data analysis tools (FlowJo, Prism, R); experience with biospecimen handling and lab management; strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred: prior translational research experience in hematological cancers. High-Value: focus on blood cancers, translational assay development, resistance mechanisms, combination strategies; laboratory work supporting hematology programs. Collaboration: cross-functional engagement with discovery, data science, and clinical teams. WorkSetup: in-person, three days/week at AstraZeneca; flexible with individual circumstances.
