Role: Scientific Researcher within Natera's Platform Technologies team, focusing on developing and advancing NGS-based diagnostic technologies. Responsibilities: lead laboratory research projects, design and demonstrate novel nucleic acid-based methods, plan experiments, analyze data, coordinate with bioinformatics teams, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Requirements: Ph.D. in molecular biology, genomics, or related field; 2+ years industry experience or 1+ post-Ph.D. year; hands-on expertise in NGS sample prep, library construction, and sequencing; strong research record and data analysis skills in R, Python, or similar; ability for independent work. Preferred: experience with CLIA labs, epigenetics, methylation, cfDNA, digital PCR, and bioinformatics.
