Scientist, Quality Control

Role: QC Scientist II responsible for performing chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process, finished, and stability samples of pharmaceutical products. Objectives include ensuring compliance with SOPs, reporting results accurately, and supporting method transfer activities. Responsibilities: execute analytical techniques such as IR, UV-Vis, chromatography, X-ray diffraction, DSC, and Malvern Mastersizer; prepare samples; document procedures and results; lead investigations of out-of-specification results; assist in method validation and transfer; calibrate laboratory instruments; and train junior staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Chemistry or related science; minimum 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical testing with relevant analytical techniques; preferred Master's degree with 1+ years' experience. High-Value: pharmaceutical QC, chemical and physical analysis, method transfer, stability testing, GMP compliance, lab instrumentation calibration, and investigations. Collaboration: supports senior scientists and provides training; interacts with laboratory personnel. Work Setup: laboratory-based; no travel specified.
