Education:
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Typically 7+ years (BS) or 5+ years (MS) of pharmaceutical and/or relevant industry experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of biologics, antibody fragments, and protein mimetics; ability to design therapeutic modalities using protein structure/function.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, sequence analysis, and protein engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and transfection workflows.
- Competence in protein purification and in vitro analytical characterization (e.g., SEC, MS, DSF).
- Experience optimizing workflows/assays using statistical analysis.
- Cell-free production and screening of therapeutic binders is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with internal/external scientific leaders.
- Strong organizational skills; manage multiple projects.
