Responsibilities:
- Support biological therapeutics and vaccines by developing, scaling up, characterizing, and troubleshooting purification processes for recombinant proteins, polysaccharides, bioconjugates, and other biologics.
- Execute processes at lab and pilot scales; perform recovery/purification unit operations including preparative chromatography, TFF, and NFF; support commercial scale operations as needed.
- Contribute across scope definition through post-implementation monitoring (e.g., feasibility, design/specification development, planning, implementation, tech transfer).
- Optimize processes by executing, analyzing, documenting, and communicating experimental results; interpret data and recommend improvements to enhance yields and smooth transition to implementation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose root causes, and determine short- and long-term solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, give presentations, and assist with regulatory filing documents.

Qualifications / Requirements:
- BA/BS with at least 6 years’ experience or MBA/MS with at least 4 years’ experience.
- Degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related biotechnology discipline.
- Experience in purification of biologics (R&D, technical operations, manufacturing) and operating/monitoring/control of purification processes (chromatography, TFF, NFF).
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally; lead teams with coaching.

Benefits / Compensation (as stated):
- Base salary range: $82,700–$137,900; bonus target 10% of base salary; 401(k) match and additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision.
