Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions to solve complex clinical and pharmaceutical challenges.
- Develop and maintain backend systems using FastAPI for robust data processing pipelines.
- Develop automations utilizing Robotic Process Automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical scientists, IT, business stakeholders) on technical timelines and planning.
- Lead multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external vendors to stay informed on AI trends and best practices.
- Independently design and develop business technology solutions using data integration, visualization, and analysis.
- Demonstrate proficiency across technologies for storage, transfer, integration, visualization, and analysis of large/complex datasets.
- Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare business to advance agile, impactful, and cost-effective solutions.
- Organize and present project objectives and progress; contribute to technical publications and presentations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Data Science/related field + 5 years experience; or Master’s degree + 4 years experience.
- Demonstrated AI/ML experience in clinical or pharmaceutical contexts.
- Hands-on experience with large language models and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong Python skills with data science libraries.
- Backend development experience using FastAPI.
- Experience with Knowledge Graphs and related Python packages.
- AWS experience building applications on ECS.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree.
- Background in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience.
