Scientist, Assay Productization

Role: Scientist I on the Assay Productization team supporting the development and commercialization of Single Cell Genomic products. Responsibilities: independently design and execute experiments involving NGS library prep from single cells, tissues, or DNA/RNA using 10x instruments; develop and refine QC methods; own project deliverables; troubleshoot reagent and assay issues; support reagent stability studies; update manufacturing documentation; train QC and Production staff; present data to stakeholders; communicate risks and collaborate cross-functionally. Requirements: BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years (or MS with 3+ years, PhD with 1+ year) experience; hands-on NGS library prep and workflow expertise; experience in process/product development and tech transfer; proficiency with analytical techniques (qPCR, HPLC, Bioanalyzer); strong experimental design, troubleshooting, and documentation skills; collaborative and self-motivated mindset. Preferred: experience with single cell genomics, RNA-Seq, novel reagent development, and product lifecycle management.
