Scientific Product Owner – NCSP, DDUs & PDT R&D

Role: Scientific Product Owner supporting Takeda’s Nonclinical Safety, Pharmacology, Drug Discovery Units (DDUs), and Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) R&D. Objectives: define, deliver, and optimize digital products enabling research workflows, data integration, transparency, and scientific decision-making. Responsibilities: develop product strategy and roadmaps; translate scientific needs into technical requirements; own the Research Control Tower for integrated portfolio oversight; manage agile delivery cycles; collaborate with interdisciplinary stakeholders; ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards; leverage analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, computer science, or related; 6+ years in pharma, biotech, or research technology, with experience managing digital research tools or platforms; strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred: advanced degrees (Master’s, PhD), experience with regulatory submissions, cloud platforms (AWS), GxP environments, and GAI technologies; certifications in product management or agile.
