Role: Scientific Communications Leader (SCL) responsible for defining and executing integrated scientific communication strategies for oncology assets across their lifecycle. Objectives include developing compelling, evidence-based scientific narratives, ensuring alignment with medical and commercial strategies, and supporting data communications for internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities encompass leading narrative development, overseeing scientific communication deliverables (e.g., congress materials, Q&As, training tools), and translating complex clinical data into strategic messages. The role involves collaboration with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Publications, Commercial, HEOR, and Regulatory teams, with a focus on pre-launch, launch, and lifecycle management phases in oncology. Qualifications include an advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD), extensive biopharma oncology experience, and proven expertise in medical/scientific communication strategy, particularly supporting pre-launch or launch assets. The candidate should demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership, scientific storytelling ability, and knowledge of oncology development, treatment paradigms, and scientific exchange needs. Travel may be moderate to significant, primarily for scientific engagements and conferences. The position is based in multiple global locations, including US, UK, and Germany, with a focus on senior strategic leadership within a matrixed environment.
