Responsibilities:
- Conceive, design, engineer, and implement enterprise-level software and technology solutions for end-to-end Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) / Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business problems within SAP S4.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions; generate proposals and lead efforts.
- Investigate, identify, and implement technology platforms driving productivity and efficiency gains across Business Technology Solutions (BTS) and Source-to-Pay (S2P).
- Act as SAP S4 Principal Engineer; anticipate and critically evaluate technological advances and formulate strategies.
- Serve as functional and technical lead for P2P (Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order/PO Form, e-Form, Invoices, Non-PO/ACR, Procurement BW, RTR objects, Interfaces, Testing, E2E integration, connected applications, e-Invoicing, SDLC, ITGC controls).
- Champion “out of the box” thinking; master software design/development, programming, data integration/warehousing/analysis, networking, and virtualization/cloud environments.
- Apply deep pharmaceutical/healthcare business knowledge to deliver agile, impactful, cost-effective solutions.
- Mentor/supervise team members (if applicable); communicate effectively with executive leadership and peers.
- Adhere to corporate/divisional policies including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and SDLC.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s (8 yrs), Master’s (7 yrs), or PhD (3 yrs) + Minimum 3–5+ years SAP S4 experience.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP systems development life cycle; techno-functional SAP MM experience for R2P/P2P.
- Ability to act as principal investigator (original technical ideas and software development strategies).
- Strong English communication skills.
