Role Summary
The Sales Representative in Jackson, MS will implement marketing and sales strategies to promote our products. They will deliver informative sales presentations to current and prospective customers and manage territory coverage through planned activity. This role requires up to 50% travel and involves engaging healthcare providers, hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, and retail/wholesale accounts.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed all product sales goals within the assigned territory through strategic business planning; manage the distribution of samples and maintain PDMA-compliant records.
- Craft and deliver comprehensive sales presentations using approved marketing and selling materials to communicate product value propositions to current and potential customers; develop a daily call schedule to ensure efficient territory coverage.
- Demonstrate comprehensive disease-state knowledge and indications relevant to the promoted products; implement the selling model and use pre/post-call analysis to optimize engagement.
- Regularly review and analyze sales data and utilize available budget funds to maximize impact and drive results.
- Complete administrative reports timely; safeguard company assets (laptop, iPad, etc.); enter calls in the Veeva System via iPad and respond to email daily.
- Adherence to all company and compliance policies, guidelines and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Required: 1 year or more outside sales experience
- Required: 3+ years life science industry experience
- Preferred: Specialty pharmaceutical experience strongly preferred
- Required: US driver's license upon hire

Education
