Role Summary

Role: Sales Representative (Endo) – Columbus, OH. The Sales Representative implements marketing and sales strategies to promote Endo products with the Endo Sales Team. The role delivers balanced and informative sales presentations to current and prospective customers, plans territory coverage with defined call frequency, and uses approved marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding all product sales performance goals within the assigned geographical assignment (territory) through strategic and effective business planning.
  • Manage the distribution of samples and record sample transactions in accordance with Company Policy and the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) guidelines maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
  • Craft and develop comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using all approved marketing and selling materials to effectively communicate product value propositions to current and potential customers with a frequency based on assigned call goals with healthcare providers, focusing on top target customers.
  • Develop a daily call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of territory and adhere to a certain number of calls per day if applicable. Maintain accurate territory information.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in disease states and indications relevant to promoted products.
  • Implement the Amneal selling model and process principles, including the DiSC personality profile when engaging with customers to enhance interactions.
  • Perform pre and post call analysis to optimize customer engagement outcomes.
  • Regularly review and analyze all available sales data and utilize developmental budget funds to maximize impact and drive results.
  • Complete administrative reports timely and meet related deadlines.
  • Ensure proper safeguarding and care for company assets (laptop, iPad, fleet vehicle, etc.).
  • Enter calls promptly into Veeva System via iPad and check/respond to email daily.

Qualifications

  • Required: At least 1 year of outside sales experience.
  • Preferred: Life science industry experience.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of disease state and related treatments.
  • Proven track record of success preferably in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess a combination of medical knowledge, sales expertise and passion for patients.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or relevant field - Required

Additional Requirements

  • Travel: 50% travel and may include overnight travel.
  • May require occasional weekend coverage for patient programs.
  • US Driver's license required upon hire.
