Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate Sales Returns and Allowances, Gross Profit, Price Volume Variances, and Royalties on a monthly and quarterly basis per internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Perform analytics and develop insights used to build financial models; build analytical and financial models to identify and address business issues and opportunities.
- Streamline gross-to-net reporting through increased automation (including Alteryx) and leverage visualization techniques to drive financial insights.
- Analyze actual vs. forecasted results; provide variance analysis with key business drivers.
- Prepare product/customer profitability analysis (e.g., by customer and by product).
- Assist local leadership with financial analysis for special projects.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Implement and test new systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) and 0β4 years of experience (equivalent combinations considered).
- Strong finance/accounting technical knowledge; advanced Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint; systems skills preferably Hyperion and SAP.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Ability to look beyond the data for assumptions and implications.
- Initiative, flexibility, and ability to deliver timely, high-quality work in a team environment.
- Proven track record analyzing business trends; identify risks/opportunities and present recommendations clearly.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels and lead in a team environment.
- Strong communication to influence business decisions; decision-making and advanced analytical skills; ability to see the βbig picture.β
Location:
- Remote flexibility may be available; preference for Morgantown, WV or East Coast, US.
