Sales Reporting & Analysis Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Calculate Sales Returns and Allowances, Gross Profit, Price Volume Variances, and Royalties on a monthly and quarterly basis per internal controls/policies.
- Perform analytics and develop insight and analytical/financial models to identify and address business issues/opportunities.
- Streamline gross-to-net reporting via automation (including Alteryx) and visualization to drive financial insights.
- Analyze actual vs. forecasted results; provide variance analysis with key drivers.
- Prepare product/customer profitability analysis (e.g., by customer and by product).
- Assist local leadership with financial analysis for special projects.
- Support internal/external audit requests.
- Implement and test new systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0–4 years of experience (equivalent combination considered).
- Strong finance/accounting technical knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint; strong systems skills (preferably Hyperion and SAP).
- Ability to build/maintain business relationships.
- Ability to identify assumptions/implications beyond the data.
- Initiative, flexibility, and ability to deliver timely high-quality work in a team environment.
- Proven track record analyzing business trends; identify risks/opportunities; present clear recommendations.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; communicate clearly across all organization levels and lead in a team environment.
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills; “big picture” thinking.
- Remote flexibility possible; preference for Morgantown, WV or an East Coast US location.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $41,000–$93,000.
