Position Summary
The Sales Director, HDV Business Unit will lead a field team of 6 Regional Account Managers to prepare the U.S. market for the anticipated (pending regulatory approval) launch of Brelovitug for Hepatitis Delta Virus (HDV), advancing disease awareness and account readiness for patient identification and management.

Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Build and lead the HDV team of 6 RAMs across key U.S. geographies.
- Develop and execute a pre-launch market development strategy for HDV disease awareness and diagnosis expansion.
- Identify and prioritize high-value HDV accounts; translate epidemiology/market/competitive insights into actionable, compliant field strategies.
- Drive HDV disease education, including the HDV–Hepatitis B (HBsAg dependency) relationship.
- Partner with KOLs and key institutions to support HDV screening, diagnosis, and referral pathways; support patient identification initiatives.
- Ensure stakeholder/health system engagement; establish account plans for screening protocols, care pathways, and management readiness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Marketing for aligned execution.
- Recruit, develop, and coach RAMs; set clear pre-launch, non-promotional expectations; lead through influence.
- Serve as field leadership voice in launch planning and align stakeholders as strategies evolve.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s required; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years pharma/biotech experience with field leadership; success leading specialty/account-based teams through ambiguity.
- Experience in rare disease/hepatology/infectious disease/specialty launches; strong U.S. healthcare/IDNs/academic center knowledge.
- Preferred: Hepatitis B/liver disease/transplant network experience; launch experience in low-awareness/high-unmet-need markets.
- Strong KOL engagement and scientific fluency.
- Frequent travel up to 70% overnight; valid driver’s license.
