About The Role
The Clinical Account Executive (CAE) drives physician and patient identification, market development, and disease/brand awareness for Cortrophin Gel in the assigned territory (includes but not limited to Washington DC Metro). Maintains product/disease state knowledge, meets territory sales targets, and executes compliant account strategies. Cold calling on targeted specialties is required.

Responsibilities
- Clinical selling and education to referring and treating healthcare providers on Cortrophin Gel.
- Build and execute territory strategy and account plans to drive physician/patient identification, market development, and brand awareness in Pulmonology; continuously assess opportunities.
- Prioritize/manage resources and time to develop highest-potential accounts.
- Build individual account plans for key accounts and physicians.
- Build/maintain physician relationships via pre-call planning, customized call plans, and post-call analysis.
- Collaborate with Cortrophin brand team and internal stakeholders (e.g., MSLs, Market Access, patient HUB) to support access and logistics.
- Partner with key accounts/physicians to drive patient identification; retain customers.
- Demonstrate integrity and compliance.

Skills / Competencies (Required/Preferred)
- Account management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving.
- Product launch experience (plus), payer knowledge (plus).
- Experience working with in-house patient support services (required).
- Familiarity with legal/regulatory pharmaceutical requirements.
- Territory business planning experience.
- Patient services/specialty channel distribution (preferred).

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelorโ€™s degree required; advanced degree in business/science preferred.
- 5 yearsโ€™ rare disease or specialty pharmaceutical sales success.
- Pulmonology experience strongly preferred.
- Work evenings/weekends as needed; manage multi-state territory as applicable.
- Driverโ€™s license required; overnight travel 40โ€“60%.

Compensation/Benefits
- Base salary range: $160,000โ€“$200,000; eligible for short-term and long-term incentive program.
