Rheumatology Lead, Global and US Immunology Medical Affairs.

Role: Lead Medical Affairs for Lilly's rheumatology portfolio, shaping long-term strategies, supporting product launch, lifecycle management, and clinical development. Responsibilities include guiding clinical and scientific planning, collaborating with global teams on trial design, supporting regulatory and reimbursement activities, and leading medical data dissemination efforts. The CRP provides expert medical support for late-phase and marketed assets, engaging with healthcare providers, payers, and patient communities to address clinical care gaps and enhance patient outcomes. It involves oversight of clinical trials, review of protocols, safety monitoring, and contributing to publications and scientific communications. The role also encompasses leadership of a medical team, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure integrated evidence generation and aligned medical strategies. Qualifications: MD with board eligibility or certification in a relevant specialty; minimum 3 years' experience in Medical Affairs or pharmaceutical development; extensive knowledge of clinical research, regulatory processes, and therapeutic area (preferably rheumatology or immunology). Preferred: 5+ years pharma experience, fluency in English, and familiarity with drug development processes and digital engagement platforms. High-Value: Rheumatology (immunology), clinical trial phases 3b/4, regulatory support, medical data dissemination, and cross-functional leadership. Work setup: Full-time, based in Indianapolis; travel as needed.
