Key Responsibilities:
- Build institutional advocacy to support formulary adoption of rheumatology brands and drive appropriate utilization of approved products.
- Create, organize, and execute strategic business plans for priority hospitals within designated rheumatology academic and government institutions.
- Collaborate with local partners to develop and sustain institution-specific business plans based on local market dynamics.
- Apply deep understanding of the disease area, market dynamics, competitors, and industry trends to navigate business opportunities.
- Execute sales activities: present products/disease states, share approved clinical data with physicians and teams, and develop relationships with clinicians, administrators, and decision-makers.
- Facilitate cross-functional Area Team Meetings (ATMs) to develop and revise account strategies to meet access and sales targets.
- Evaluate customer needs and provide insights to field and HQ teams; support implementation of new strategies.
- Identify business opportunities and diagnose implementation challenges within assigned hospitals and adjacent markets.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similar) with large, geographically dispersed sales teams; 2+ years in hospital sales/similar roles managing sophisticated accounts (including large academic centers) within past 5 years.
- Strong therapeutic area/product knowledge and track record.
- Robust business background; proven cross-functional collaboration in matrix environments.
- Reside within territory or within 100 miles of the territory border; travel 60โ€“80% and drive/fly within territory; valid driverโ€™s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across disease states/therapeutic groups, account management, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.

Benefits and Compensation (as stated):
- Salary range: $145,600โ€“$270,400/year; performance-based cash incentive; potential annual equity.
