Research Associate I/II, Bioprocess Development

Role: Research Associate I/II supporting microbial fermentation process development for recombinant protein production in a biopharma startup environment. Responsibilities: operate and troubleshoot bench-scale bioreactors, prepare media and feeds, perform analytical assays, and collaborate with strain engineering, downstream, and analytical teams to scale processes. Requirements: hands-on experience in microbial fermentation, microbiology, or bioprocess labs; proficiency with aseptic techniques and bioreactor operation; strong organizational skills; ability to independently execute experiments. Preferred: experience with fed-batch fermentation, fermentation metabolite analysis via HPLC, recombinant protein expression, and process scale-up.
